   RSL Working Group members have requested information about the differences between BCDC and CA Coastal Commission jurisdiction and authority with respect to planning and permitting. Coastal Commission staff will provide an overview and respond to Commissioner questions.

5. Presentation by Northwestern University Kellogg Business School and McCormick Engineering School Students on Private Financing for Resilience Research
   BCDC’s graduate business and engineering students volunteering through Northwestern University’s “Abrams Climate Academy” (Abrams Climate Academy | Kellogg School of Management) will brief the Commissioners on their four-month project to identify adaptation financing models and determine their possible applicability to the Bay Area.

6. Presentation on Boston’s Green Ribbon Commission
   Boston’s Green Ribbon Commission is a network of business and civic leaders working together to provide leadership and partnership to help the City achieve its climate goals. Rebecca Herst, GRC’s Associate Director and Director of Climate Resilience, will share how they are advancing Boston’s path to Coastal Resilience, tackling its toughest financing and governance challenges through public-private partnerships.

7. Public Comment
   Speakers will be heard in the order of sign-up, and each speaker is generally limited to a maximum of three minutes. At the discretion of the Chair, more time may be provided to each speaker. Public comments submitted in writing will be distributed to all Working Group Commissioners for review.
   To submit written public comment on an agenda or items within BCDC’s jurisdiction, please email publiccomment@bcdc.ca.gov by 10:00 a.m. the day before the meeting. Making the subject: Sea Level Rise CWG Comment Agenda Item # (Fill in the blank)

Website Access to Rising Sea Level Commissioner Working Group Meeting Materials. Materials dealing with matters on the Rising Sea Level Commissioner Working Group meeting agendas may be found on BCDC’s website. Simply access the “Commission” tab on the website and select the “Commissioner Working Group” option, and then select Rising Sea Level Commissioner Working Group from the list.

How to Provide Comments and Comment Time Limits. If you would like to comment on an item scheduled for public discussion, you may do so by emailing comments in advance to publiccomment@bcdc.ca.gov until 10 a.m. the day before the meeting, or participating via ZOOM during the meeting.

If you plan to participate through ZOOM, please use your Zoom-enabled device and click on the “raise your hand” button, and then wait to speak until called upon.  If you are using a telephone to call into the meeting, select *6 to unmute your phone, and you will then be able to speak.  We ask that everyone use the mute button when not speaking.  It is also important that you not put your phone on hold.  Each speaker may be limited to a maximum of three minutes or less at the discretion of the Chair during the public comment period.  Any speakers who exceed the time limits or interfere with the meeting may be muted by the Chair.  It is strongly recommended that public comments be submitted in writing so they can be distributed to all Rising Sea Level Commissioner Working Group members in advance of the meeting for review. You are encouraged to submit written comments of any length and detailed information to the staff prior to the meeting at the email address above, which will be distributed to the Rising Sea Level Commissioner Working Group members.
