Notice of Determination of BCDC approval of Cargill permit application for salt ponds operations and maintenance project
At its June 5, 2025 meeting the San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission (Commission) approved a permit application for Cargill’s solar sea salt pond operations and maintenance project for which the Commission approved at its May 1, 2025 meeting an Environmental Assessment under its certified regulatory program as CEQA lead agency. Upon approval of the permit application, the EA is now deemed “final.” The Commission filed a Notice of Determination with the Secretary of Natural Resources on June 5, 2025.
