    The Design Review Board will review the design by the San Francisco Recreation and Parks Department for an expanded and redesigned shoreline park located at the site of the existing India Basin Shoreline Park and the adjacent 900 Innes Avenue property in the City and County of San Francisco. The approximately 14-acre park would include shoreline pathways, new public piers, a public dock and boat launch facility, a large lawn, a gravel beach, a play area, renovated and reused historic maritime buildings, and other amenities. This is the Board’s first pre-application review of the project.

  6. India Basin Open Space and 700 Innes Project; BUILD, Inc. (First Pre-Application Review)

    The Design Review Board will review the design by BUILD, Inc. for a shoreline open space area at the site of a proposed mixed use development at 700 Innes Avenue in the City and County of San Francisco. The approximately 23-acre project site would include residential and commercial development, a school, a public market, grassland and meadow features, a perched public beach, public pathways, a boardwalk, new and enhanced wetland habitat, and other recreational amenities. This is the Board’s first pre-application review of the project.

    Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act. As a state agency, the Commission is governed by the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act which requires the Commission to (1) publish an agenda at least ten days in advance of any meeting; (2) describe specifically in that agenda the items to be transacted or discussed; and (3) refuse to add an item subsequent to the published agenda. In addition to these general requirements the Bagley-Keene Act includes other specific provisions about how meetings are to be announced and conducted.
