  3. Discuss selection of a new Board member and administrative matters of the Design Review Board
  4. 34th America’s Cup Racing Event Briefing – City and County of San Francisco and America’s Cup Event Authority (First Review)
    BCDC's Design Review Board (DRB) and the Port of San Francisco's Waterfront Design Advisory Committee (WDAC) will receive a preliminary briefing on the proposed 34th America’s Cup Racing Event, to be held in 2012 and 2013. The briefing will provide the DRB and WDAC with an overview of the proposed venue sites and activities, in preparation for a more detailed DRB and WDAC review of the project in October or November.

Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act. As a state agency, the Commission is governed by the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act which requires the Commission to (1) publish an agenda at least ten days in advance of any meeting; (2) describe specifically in that agenda the items to be transacted or discussed; and (3) refuse to add an item subsequent to the published agenda. In addition to these general requirements the Bagley-Keene Act includes other specific provisions about how meetings are to be announced and conducted.
