    The Design Review Board will hold a public hearing on a proposal to grade and cap an 8.9-acre closed landfill site, and develop an 8-story and a 10-story commercial office building, including a 5-story parking garage, on the landfill site located at 2000-4000 Marina Boulevard, in the City of Brisbane, San Mateo County. Approximately 31,800 square feet of the site are within the Commission’s 100-foot shoreline band jurisdiction. No Bay fill is proposed. Within the Commission’s jurisdiction, only public access improvements, a private outdoor terrace, a fire access lane, and open space would be developed. Outside of the Commission’s jurisdiction, the project includes 348,500 square feet of office space area within two separate buildings, 1,494 parking spaces, and a five-story parking structure.

Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act. As a state agency, the Commission is governed by the Bagley-Keene Open Meeting Act which requires the Commission to (1) publish an agenda at least ten days in advance of any meeting; (2) describe specifically in that agenda the items to be transacted or discussed; and (3) refuse to add an item subsequent to the published agenda. In addition to these general requirements the Bagley-Keene Act includes other specific provisions about how meetings are to be announced and conducted.
