February 5, 2015 Commission Meeting Summary
Commissioners, Alternates, and Staff:
19 members attended the February 5, 2015 BCDC meeting, which was held at the Ferry Building in San Francisco.
On a vote of 17-0-0, the Commission approved Amendment No. 4 to BCDC Permit No. 2012.002, a material amendment to the Port of San Francisco’s permit that allows commercial parking within the Ground Transportation Area of the Cruise Ship Terminal, among other purposes, after conducting a public hearing. The Commission held a public hearing on the U.S. Army’s consistency determination request to modernize, rebuild, and maintain Pier 2 at Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO) in Contra Costa County. For details contact Rosa Schneider (415/352-3622; firstname.lastname@example.org).

ALSO ATTACHED IS A MEMO FROM BCDC’S STAFF COUNSEL REGARDING “FORM 700 — ANNUAL STATEMENT OF ECONOMIC INTERESTS,” WHICH IS DUE ON APRIL 1, 2015.
The next regularly scheduled Commission meeting will occur on February 19, 2015, and will be held at MetroCenter in Oakland. The preliminary agenda includes, but may not be limited to:
1. A vote on the U.S. Army’s consistency determination request to modernize, rebuild, and maintain Pier 2 at Military Ocean Terminal Concord (MOTCO) in Contra Costa County.
2. A briefing on CalTrans’ updated plans to demolish the Bay Bridge, including the possibility of imploding a portion of it.
3. A briefing on the Joint Policy Committee’s Resilient Shorelines Program.
