21 members attended the meeting, which was held at the Ferry Building in San Francisco.

The Commission received a briefing on Plan Bay Area, the Sustainable Communities Strategy being prepared by the Association of Bay Area Governments and the Metropolitan Transportation Commission. For details, contact Joe LaClair (415/352-3656 email@example.com).
The Commission received a briefing by the staff on the status of the Adapting to Rising Tides project. The briefing included an overview of project partnerships and committees, new inundation mapping for the ART project area, the components of the project that have been completed and the upcoming work and timeline for the project. The Selection Committee is in the outreach phase of the BCDC Executive Director Search and will be receiving comments from BCDC constituents and BCDC staff about the kinds of skills, attributes and experience that the Committee should look for in our candidates. The Chair is working on selecting an Interview Panel, and the Committee will be developing screening criteria and interview questions over the next few weeks. Friday May 4th, is the date by which applicants who would like to be optimally considered should file their application package.
